Dr. Aviv Tsimerman
Dr. Aviv has been servicing patients for the past 10 years, and began noticing different aches and pains in clinical practice. Suddenly, the thought of dragging patients to his clinic for a simple orthotic fitting felt like an unnecessary burden for him and his patients. When Dr. Aviv met our co-founder and learned about his experience in telemedicine, the dots connected and Footsy was born. Dr. Aviv was now able to provide his patients with the same high quality and custom fit orthotics all from the comfort of the patients own home!
Dr. Aviv personally selects and designs all of the products that we provide and ensures they meet his high clinical standards. Each Footsy is designed with extreme care and love, nothing he wouldn’t give his own mother or mother-in-law (and you always want your mother-in-law to be comfortable!).
Sasha Fried
Sasha has been a digital health and telemedicine entrepreneur for over 20 years. During the pandemic his team was quickly able to scale their telemedicine/virtual care business and grow from 20 doctors to over 500 and provided over 100,000 patients with telemedicine appointments a month so they could continue to receive the care they needed during the “Lock Downs”.
Sasha is an Orthotics user himself and a firm believer that Customer Service is essential to any business. He could not understand the horrible experience he had to go through every time he wanted a pair of Orthotics… visit the clinic 3 times, wait more than 6 weeks to get a pair ALL WHILE PAYING $500 a pair! Expressing his frustration to Dr. Aviv over lunch one day they realized that the Status Quo had to change as Canadians should not have to waste their time or money on the Comfort of their Feet.
